THE
STUDENTS REPRETATIVE COUNCIL (SRC) 7TH SITTING

The sitting was headed by the speaker Rt. Hon. Okwuchukwu
on the 26th may 2017 5pm. The proceedings were read by the chief
clerk Hon. Jonhpaul. The SUG vice president, Comr. Grace submitted the budget
for the proposed SUG week to the house for review. A committee was instituted
which was headed by Hon. Gabriel.
The SUG financial secretary who was also present
gave the condition of the unions account. According to him the union assumed
office with just 18,595 and has received only 750,000 which was disbursed to the
different arms of government for effectively carrying out their duties.
He stated that there is no money in the account due
to the inability to access the TTF fund and has not received any token relating
to TTF.
The house resolved that the house committee for
transportation should investigate on the transport sector.
Hon. Umeh chiemere moved for adjournment of the
sitting and seconded by Hon. Gabriel.
