New Guinness World Record set for the largest gathering of people dressed as Albert Einstein
They weren't all relatives (despite looking alike), but a group of Einstein enthusiasts got together like one big happy family during a record-breaking attempt involving the Father of Relativity. Well over 300 Albert Einstein lookalikes converged in Los Angeles to break the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed as the world-famous physicist - and they did it. School on Wheels, a local non-profit founded in 1993 to provide education support to children affected by homelessness, partnered with the California Science Center and The Guinness Book of World Records to establish the new world record during the event at the end of June. School on Wheels founder Agnes Stevens, who passed away earlier this year, loved Albert Einstein.
Her reason was not only that he was a genius, but he had curly hair, like hers. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Albert Einstein's presentation of the complete Theory of General Relativity to the Prussian Academy. In honor of Agnes and Albert, School on Wheels decided to attempt another new World Record.
